Precision Auto Repair

10/10! Came here recently because I was having issues with my brakes, some rattling under the hood, and inconsistent jerking. As someone who knows nothing about cars, the shop easily could’ve convinced me to spend more money - but that’s not what this place is about! John very clearly wanted to take the most conservative and cost effective approach, not wanting to pay more than is necessary. Which is beyond appreciated. He took the time to break down everything he learned about my car after doing a thorough check. These guys just have a genuine nature to their family run business and I felt at ease in their hands. Not to mention they work impressively quick. Considering they’re walking distance from me, I will be a loyal customer from here on out after this experience!

I can’t recommend Precision Auto enough. John, and now Jaicomo, have been taking care of my cars for the last 15 years. In addition to just being good people, on the service work from standard tuneups to tires, they have been 100% honest, fair and thorough. When my son blew out a tire, Jaicomo stayed late to meet the tow truck and store the car overnight, saving a bunch of time and hassle. I usually call a few days ahead to schedule, and the morning I drop it off I get a full report of recommendations and costs. I call to discuss anything optional, or ask about severity of the issue, and almost always have the car by the end of the day.

John and his son who run this place are incredibly helpful, kind and informative with no gimmicky sales tactics. They are family owned and have been for decades which makes going to them that much better. Their prices are fair and competitive (I called 4 other repair shops and all were more expensive for the same services).

Our tire blew around the corner from our shop. Initially we asked to borrow a jack to change the tire, which they very quickly let us borrow. Then we realized it was too high to fit under the car. So we drove around the corner and they put our spare tire on in less than 5 minutes. They were super friendly and helpful, dropped what they were doing to help us with our tire.

My car hasn’t looked this good since it was new! A few months back my car got stolen and needed some work. I picked Precision Auto Repair because they are certified with my insurance company, the location was convenient to the city, and they offer detailing. They were incredibly easy to work with, and I got updates every step of the way. Excellent customer service. While my insurance covered the balance, the total for the bill was very reasonable. Once all the parts were in my car was finished quickly and it’s sparkling like new. I’ll definitely be back the next time I need a detail or any body work.
